Crypto sentiment charts: price and attention on one timeline
Sentalysis puts a crypto asset's price history and the Attention Interest Oscillator on one chart, and colors every candle by how unusual the attention reading is. Pick an asset and a keyword, and see when interest ran hot or cold against its own history.
What the chart shows
One chart, two kinds of data
Price says what the market did. Attention says how much the public was paying attention while it happened. Keeping them on one timeline makes it easy to compare the two, and keeping them separate in your head keeps the comparison honest.
The candles are Binance spot prices for the asset you choose: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, BNB, Dogecoin or Pepe.
The oscillator is the Attention Interest Oscillator (AIO) for the keyword you choose: Sentalysis's proprietary 0–100 measure of public attention. The higher the reading, the more attention the topic is drawing compared with its own past.
The color ties them together. Each candle takes the oscillator's value in the view you selected: cool when attention is low against your thresholds, bright when it runs high.
- Asset and keyword are separate choices. Compare Solana with Solana, or Bitcoin with Recession, Conflict or Bull Run.
- Four keyword groups: cryptocurrency, markets, geopolitics and macroeconomics, from Altcoin and Meme Coin to VIX, Inflation and Interest Rates.
- Thresholds are yours. Move the upper and lower lines and the colors follow.
Raw
The 0–100 reading itself, optionally on a log scale to tame the largest spikes.
Z-score
How unusual a reading is against its own recent history. You choose how much history counts.
EMA
A smoothed line that follows the trend while giving the most weight to recent readings.
Your thresholds
Upper and lower lines decide where the colors change, and where a data alert could fire.

The Z-score lab
The same Z-score view as the platform, on a 14-month sample of recorded data. Change the keyword or drag the window, and watch the candle colors and the readings respond while the price stays exactly where it was. On Pro, the same chart reaches back to 2017.
- Highest Z-score
- 5.34 on 6 Feb 2026
- Days above +1.5
- 45 of 435
- Upward crossings of +1.5
- 14
Recorded daily data, 1 July 2025 to 8 September 2026 (Binance BTC/USDT). Candles are colored by the attention Z-score, fully bright from +1.5. The price never changes; only the baseline the attention reading is compared with does.
Timeframes and history
Five timeframes, with history back to 2017 on Pro
Pro charts reach back to 2017 where data exists for the keyword and asset, enough to compare several market cycles. Every timeframe works with every view.

A method
How to read a sentiment chart
A chart like this is a tool for asking better questions about the past. These four steps keep the questions specific.
Name the question
Was attention to Bitcoin unusual during this sell-off? Did talk of a bull run rise before or after the high? A specific question decides the asset, keyword and timeframe.
Pick the view
Raw shows the level, Z-score shows how unusual it is for that keyword, and EMA shows the trend without daily noise.
Match the window
A short window flags anything new; a long one only flags what is rare over months. Choose the baseline your question needs.
Compare, then check
Similar timing is a lead, not a conclusion. Check other keywords, other assets and other periods before reading anything into it.
FAQ
Questions and answers
What is a crypto sentiment chart?
It is a price chart with a measure of market mood on the same timeline. On Sentalysis the measure is the Attention Interest Oscillator, a reading of public attention to a keyword, and every candle is colored by how high that reading is against your thresholds, so stretches of unusually high or low attention stand out at a glance.
Which cryptocurrencies can I chart?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, BNB, Dogecoin and Pepe, using Binance spot prices. The free plan charts Bitcoin; Plus and Pro unlock every asset and every keyword.
What does the candle color mean?
The color follows the Attention Interest Oscillator for the keyword you selected, in the view you selected. With the default palette, cool purples and blues mean attention is low against your thresholds and greens through yellow mean it is high. Steel to Gold, Purple to Gold and custom three-color palettes are also available.
Is the Attention Interest Oscillator a trading signal?
No. It measures attention, which can come from enthusiasm, worry or plain curiosity, and it does not say which way a price will move. Sentalysis provides research data only: no buy or sell signals, no predictions and no advice.
How far back does the data go?
On Pro, history reaches back to 2017 where data exists for the keyword and asset, so you can study several market cycles. Free and Plus show a rolling two-year window. Hourly data is a Pro timeframe; daily data is on every plan.
How often is the chart updated?
Several times a day. The latest readings can be updated as new data arrives, so treat the last few hours as a first look.
